- Cambridge Dictionary. A bilingual Spanish-English dictionary with regularly updated Spanish words alongside their English translations.
- Collins. An English to Spanish and Spanish to English dictionary written and updated by experienced lexicographers.
- Diccionario argentino de dudas idiomáticas. By Academia Argentina de Letras. Publisher: Ediciones Santillana S.A. Buenos Aires, Argentina (2011) (Print). This monolingual dictionary solves grammar questions on both written and oral Spanish.
- Diccionario de la lengua española – Real Academia Española (monolingual). Compiles the general lexicon used in Spain and Hispanic countries.
- Diccionario panhispánico de dudas. Provides answers to the use of the Spanish language (pronunciation, accentuation, punctuation, spelling, etc.)
- Larousse Diccionario Avanzado de Español (Monolingual) (Print). This monolingual Spanish dictionary includes almost 100,000 definitions.
- RAE. The official dictionary of the Spanish language.
- Así Hablamos. This is an online resource with slangs from all over Latin America where they provide synonyms or definitions.
Grammar, Vocabulary and Orthography
- Fundéu – Fundación del español urgente. It is updated daily and contains the answer to a large amount of questions about the correct use of the Spanish language (monolingual).
- Ortografía de la lengua española (2010). Aims to describe the orthographic system of the Spanish language (monolingual).
Manuals of Style
- Libro de estilo de la lengua española: según la norma panhispánica. Publisher: Espasa (27 November 2018) (Print). This is a manual of Spanish correction and style that shows the way that certain grammatical, orthographic and lexical issues have evolved in recent years (monolingual).
- Manual de estilo de la lengua española by José Martínez de Sousa. Publisher: Ediciones Trea, S.L. (27 March 2015) (Print). This manual contains the basic elements for correct writing in Spanish (monolingual).
Corpus
- El Corpus de Referencia del Español Actual (CREA). This is a set of texts of different origins from where it is possible to extract information to study words, their meanings and contexts (monolingual).
Legal Translation
- Diccionario panhispánico del español jurídico (monolingual). This dictionary of legal terms has been prepared by a team of more than four hundred jurists and philologists.
- English/Spanish Legal Glossary/Glosario Legal (by Superior Court of California, County of Sacramento, 2006). It includes terms and definitions in both English and Spanish.
- Glossary of Legal (and Related) Terms and Courthouse Signs – English/Spanish (by New Jersey Administrative Office of the Courts, 2014). The bilingual glossary is updated every time new documents present translation challenges resolved by the team.

- Diccionario de la Real Academia Nacional de Medicina. A Spanish monolingual dictionary of medical terms.
- Diccionario de dudas y dificultades de traducción del inglés médico by Fernando Navarro (2014). This Spanish and English bilingual dictionary aims to address some of the difficulties a translator can encounter when working with medical texts.
